NCAA finds Michigan broke practice rules
The NCAA has found that Michigan's storied football program was out of compliance with practice time rules under coach Rich Rodriguez.
Incoming athletic director David Brandon disclosed the finding Tuesday.
Tennessee coach Derek Dooley to earn $1.8 million
New Tennessee coach Derek Dooley will earn $1.8 million in his first season of a six-year contract.
Under agreements between Tennessee and its new coaches, Dooley's nine assistants will make a combined $2.7 million.
Oregon LB Alonso suspended for 2010 season
Oregon has suspended linebacker Kiko Alonso for the 2010 football season.
Alonso was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence of
intoxicants—the fourth Ducks player to be arrested in the past month.
