For the eighth consecutive year, the Mountain West Conference is represented on the official watch list for the Rimington Trophy, as TCU standout Blake Schlueter is one of 42 student-athletes named to the watch list for the 2008 award. Now in its ninth year of existence, the Rimington Trophy honors the nation's top center.

Air Force football is one the best values in the Mountain West Conference and among all Division I-A college football programs when it comes to ticket prices. The program is coming off a successful 9-4 campaign in 2007 and has a great home schedule in 2008 including trips to Colorado Springs by Navy, BYU, Utah, Colorado State and New Mexico. The season kicks off Aug. 30 against Southern Utah. Five of the six teams coming to Falcon Stadium played in bowl games last year and three of them were victorious.
