Four WAC Centers Named to Rimington Trophy Watch List Wed, 07 May 2008 06:00:00 MST A total of four WAC football players have been named to the 2008 Rimington Trophy Watch List which honors the nation's best center: Hawai‘i's John Estes, Idaho's Adam Korby, Nevada's Dominic Green and Utah State's Ryan Tonnemacher. For Korby, it is the third year in a row he has been named to the list.
Boise State's Clady Selected 12th Overall in 2008 NFL Draft Sun, 27 Apr 2008 06:00:00 MST Boise State offensive tackle Ryan Clady became the first Bronco ever drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft when the Denver Broncos selected him with the 12th overall pick. It is the highest a WAC player has been drafted since Fresno State's David Carr was the number one overall pick in 2002. A total of eight WAC players were selected in the 2008 NFL draft.
